(אֱמֹר) "speak"

Torah: Leviticus 21:1–24:23

Prophets: Ezekiel 44:15-31

Letters: Hebrews 8-10

Why do many Christians and Jews find the book of Ezekiel challenging? This week we dig extensively into Leviticus 21 and compare it with Ezekiel 44. Who are the sons of Zadok? Do they have more requirements that the other sons of Aaron? We also briefly discuss the significance of a physical temple in Yerushaláyim (יְרוּשָׁלַיִם).

Tahor (Clean) and Tamei (Unclean)

Shemini (שְּׁמִינִי) “Eighth”

Lev 9:1-11:47

This is the portion where Aaron and his sons are anointed for service. It does not take long for his sons (Nadav and Avihu) to make profane fire. Eleazar and Ithamar do not eat the sin offering. The foods that are Tahor are reviewed.

With all of this background in mind, we review some practices, doctrines, and texts in Rabbanic Judaism that range from tamei (unclean) to chalal (profane). The alleged authority of the Sanhedrin is briefly discussed.

House of Shiloh - Mission and Vision

What is a biblically based mission statement? Can a vision help us achieve our mission? Join us as we delve into these secular concepts with 1st Century insights. Furthermore, we ask Is it enough to just be a pure virgin?

Revelation 19: 7 Let us be glad and rejoice and give Him glory, for the marriage of the Lamb has come, and His wife has made herself ready.” And to her it was granted to be arrayed in fine linen, clean and bright, for the fine linen is the righteous acts of the saints.

Personal Conviction

Bo (בֹּא‬)

“Go” or “Come”

Ex 10:1 – 13:16

Philippians 2:12 So then, my beloved, just as you have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your salvation with fear and trembling; 13 for it is Elohim who is at work in you, both to will and to work for His good pleasure.

These verses exemplify our study this week. Brother David explains how the work of YHVHs Ruach inside all of us is convicting. It leads us to his WORD, and to sound doctrine. However, we must be willing to listen and accept correction.

The Foundation Stone

Vayera (וַיֵּרָא‬) "and he appeared"

TORAH : GENESIS 18:1-22:24

Is Jerusalem special? What about Mount Zion? Does YHVH really have sacred and set-apart (Qodesh) places on the earth? What does it mean that Jerusalem is the apple of his eye or the navel of the earth? What is the prophetic significance of the Qodesh city in the return of the Messiah?
